Dirty Lightning

That's right. Proof that God exists just roasted, electrocuted, and asphyxiated you simultaneously.

Blasphemy!

Two things to be slightly indignant about this weekend:

Pshhhh times infinity, I say.

Time Magazine On Obesity

You gotta admit: what TIME Magazine lacks in journalistic talent, it makes up for in creative visuals.

Dirt Biking Gone Bad

One of my dad's work friends broke his arms in a motorcycle accident a couple weeks ago, but luckily for us, he was wearing a helmet cam. The sound at the end is possibly the gnarliest thing I have ever heard (skip to 1:07 for the payoff.)

Pause just right at 1:15 to see the busted arm. Yeesh...

Buffalo Bill

This is a painting by my grandma that she gave to me a while ago (If that doesn't make you want to read on, I don't know what will.) She used an interesting method of painting on this one, painting the entire canvas black and then scraping it off to get the desired image. A little damage to the left eye notwithstanding, it's a pretty cool piece.

Jack White

Another musical hero drawn today: Jack White of the White Stripes and The Dead Weather.

I actually don't like it that much. I should give it another try sometime.

Postmodern_Post/Time

I feel like such a hipster photographer right now.

DSLR is sooooo mainstream. I use an iPod camera, fools!

Thom Yorke

A drawing of my musical hero, Thom Yorke of Radiohead. Johnny Greenwood will probably come soon:

Freaking iPod autocorrect kept trying to make the title "Thin Yorkers". Sounds like a British breakfast to me.

An Emma Watson Wallpaper

In honor of "National Women's Day", I made an Emma Watson wallpaper. Ok, I actually I just did it for fun.

It's simply the original wallpaper in grayscale, and the red and blue separated slightly. You can see it better if you zoom in (or set it as your wallpaper).

Enjoy.

The Brothers Karamazov

If there was ever a book (besides the Bible) that I would venture to call perfect, it would be The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

I hope you read it.

The Art of Christine Caven

This magnificence was drawn specifically for me when I was a Freshman. Booyah.

Weekly Fun Facts

Here, preserved for posterity's sake, are the posts from my short-lived "Weekly Fun Fact" widget I used
to have on the right side. They are probably true.

Phone tech support is villainously designed to make people detest Indians.

Antidepressants can cause brownish black urine. Don’t worry, be happy.

A corpse in an airplane can breathe audibly as the altitude changes.

You can tell a clean waiter by the snot visible on his shoulders.

If preteen sitcoms taught me anything, it’s that you should never pretend to like a band you don’t actually know.

Jules

Today, I spent a satisfying 20 minutes drawing Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction (played by Samuel L. Jackson.)

"Hamburgers. The cornerstone of a nutritious breakfast. Mmm... Hit the spot."
